Appointments

I AM CURRENTLY AUTHORING A BOOK.
I HAVE REMOVED APPOINTMENTS FROM MY SCHEDULE FOR THE TIME BEING.
IF YOU ARE A PREVIOUS CLIENT, CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR SCHEDULING.

THANK YOU.

Our sessions are designed for your convenience, offering the flexibility of being conducted over the phone or via Zoom. You can choose the mode that suits you best when making an appointment.

As a first step, we offer a exploration session. This valuable opportunity allows you to discuss your situation, ask questions, and share your expectations. It's a commitment-free space where you can express your current needs and concerns, which are important to us.

We meet on a “mutual donation” basis. While the average financial gift for our time and attention is around $80, we understand that everyone's financial situation is unique. Some may donate more, some less, and others may prefer a barter, in-kind, or gift-economy arrangement. We trust you to choose a self-determined offering that feels right to you, that intuitively feels clean, fair, and honest, and that respects your financial means as well as our efforts. All clients receive the same effort regardless of what kind of offering is chosen. As life changes, you have freedom to adjust your offering. We offer our time and honed attention, trusting the generosity of participants to support us in developing and sustaining in-depth experiences.

I serve clients across the United States and in several other countries. I meet in all time zones.

If my available appointment times do not work for you, please contact me to discuss possible alternatives. Thank you.

To reschedule a scheduled session, please provide 24-hour notice. If you do not reschedule within this timeframe, the appointment will be considered complete.

DESCRIPTION OF WHAT A MENTORING APPOINTMENT LOOKS LIKE:

Mentoring is the activity of meeting together to focus on what you are working with or on. We do this so that your natural propensity for seeking meaning and strength is attended to. We utilize positive therapy approaches as well as behavioral science, resiliency, and happiness science.

The mentoring relationship is a co-created relationship based on open communication and trust. The client sets the pace and goals. We look for the spark of life within you.

This type of support will effectively meet the needs of about 90% of grieving people alongside participation in peer support, support groups, reading, exercise, and meditating or mindfulness. Truly complicated grief, by clinical definition, is only experienced by about 10% of people. These people will benefit by receiving all of the above and, in addition, expert help - psychological therapy is a normal course of action for these people.

All people are helped and may grow by a combination of psychological therapy, peer support, support groups, spiritual practices, and mentorship.
